Seminar on the current state of regulations and safeguards for children in distress

Earlier this month our director Tarkeshwar (standing below) took part in a comprehensive seminar on the current state of regulations and safeguards for children in distress in Bihar -- including abandoned children, children in conflict with the law and children who have been the target of abuse by adults. The gathering was attended by some of Bihar's key organizations involved in protecting children, including the government's Child Welfare Committee, the Juvenile Justice Board, Child Line, and local authorized Child Care Institutions.
